This Biedermeier chair had a broken back leg just below the seat rails.

To repair it, I first glued and clamped the leg back into position.

To give support, a wood splint extending above and below the break was set into the leg, sanded flush, touched up, and polished to blend in.

The rest of the chair was then cleaned and polished.

This Biedermeier chair was repaired for a Fairfield CT client.
